The gaming-focused blockchain, Oasys, has announced a strategic partnership with Vortex Gaming, a subsidiary of Inven, which is a leading gaming platform in South Korea. This collaboration aims to expand Oasys’s presence in the Korean market, providing Vortex players access to the latest blockchain-based games available on the Oasys platform.

Expanding Presence Through Inven

Through this partnership, Oasys will tap into Inven’s extensive Korean gamer community, which dominates the gaming webzine sector with an 80% market share. The collaboration is designed to facilitate Oasys’s engagement with South Korean gamers, introducing them to innovative blockchain gaming experiences. It aims to drive user acquisition and promote the adoption of blockchain technology within Korea’s dynamic gaming community. Additionally, this partnership will expand the number of blockchain games on Vortex, offering players a variety of desktop and mobile games with blockchain features.

Vortex Gaming’s Role in Web3 Adoption

Vortex Gaming operates a content-driven gaming community that simplifies the discovery of blockchain and metaverse games for players. It has established strong partnerships with major Web3 companies, including NEAR Protocol, MARBLEX, and METABORA SINGAPORE, with the goal of optimizing its services for Web3 games. Vortex Gaming’s platform is popular on social media and offers guild functions across multiple games. Dedicated to driving Web3 adoption through quality content on game info and token economies, Vortex Gaming provides a global playground for gamers to connect, interact, and earn rewards.

Building on Success in the Korean Market

This partnership builds on Oasys’s existing success in the Korean gaming market, where it is recognized as the leading gaming chain. This follows the launch of XPLA Verse, a Layer 2 (L2) on Oasys developed with participation from South Korea’s Com2uS Group. Oasys aims to onboard more Web3 users to its ecosystem while making it easier for players to discover the unique features of blockchain gaming, which has already gained considerable traction throughout East Asia.

Upcoming Campaign with Ubisoft’s “Champions Tactics”

The first initiative under this partnership will feature a campaign for Ubisoft’s “Champions Tactics,” targeting Inven’s audience and utilizing Vortex Gaming’s services. Scheduled to run from June 26 to July 7, participants will complete various missions and stake $OAS tokens to be among the 50 winners who will earn a whitelist spot for minting NFTs from Ubisoft’s Web3 game, Champions Tactics. This campaign aims to engage the gaming community and promote the integration of blockchain technology within the gaming ecosystem.
