As digital art gains prominence, questions around intellectual property (IP) rights become increasingly complex. We work tirelessly to offer artists transparent, clear, and straightforward means of preserving their rights, but we can always do better!

What do you think artists should do to protect their work in the digital realm, or what could a marketplace do to ensure IP rights are respected?

think the first step is education—understanding what rights artists have and how they can protect them! Thats most important

Protecting artistic work in the digital realm is increasingly crucial as the landscape evolves. Both artists and digital marketplaces have roles to play in safeguarding intellectual property (IP) rights. Here are some suggestions for what artists can do and how marketplaces can support these efforts.

Well there could be some options... but there are pros and cons for them... as watermarking or controlling resolution..., But that influences the experience and perception of the work itself. Registering works with the appropriate governmental body provides a legal acknowledgment of ownership, which can be very beneficial in case of disputes, could help but the process is long.

Maybe using Digital Rights Management.

Also implementing strong artist verification processes ensures that only legitimate creators are selling their work on the platform and utilizin technology to monitor the internet for unauthorized uses of registered artworks and take action against IP infringements would help.

But probably most important it would be to provide resources and training for artists on how to protect their IP and for buyers on why respecting IP rights is important.

I can not agree more.
